Treviglio is an Italian town of 30 033 inhabitants in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy. The municipality is located in the middle Po Valley, about 20 km south of the Orobic capital.

Founded in the early Middle Ages by the union of three municipalities for defensive purposes, it is the second largest municipality in the province, preceded by the capital. The main city of the Gera d’Adda, its strategic location is highlighted by the crossroads of roads and railways that connect it with Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona, Lodi and Milan.
